A Warm Welcome

By Leilah McClay, Headteacher
At Hartley we want our children to be both happy and successful. We have high expectations of our pupils and wish them to be successful life-long learners.
On behalf of the children, staff and governors it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website. We are very proud of our school and we hope that our website gives you a taste of what makes us so special. Hartley is a happy and inclusive primary school and we welcome children and families from a range of backgrounds. We are lucky to have a dedicated and supportive staff team who work very hard to provide the best opportunities for all our children in a safe and happy school environment.

Remote Learning Information - 1st February 2023

As you are aware, due to industrial action by members of the National Education Union (NEU), some of our classes will be closed on Wednesday 1st February. Details of class closures have been sent out via Parentmail.

For pupils in classes that are closed, our website now has a remote learning page that you can find here.

On the page, you will find a range of home learning projects and websites that you can engage in whilst you are working from home. Your logins for websites such as Times Tables Rock Stars, Mathletics, and Reading Buddy will also be in your reading record.

All children should return to school as normal on Thursday, 2nd February.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding during this time.

Yours faithfully,

Leilah McClay
