Hartley Primary School

Remote Learning

Remote education will be provided in the event of a full or partial school closure or for pupils who are unable to attend school for medical reasons but are well enough to learn from home.

The type and structure of remote learning provided will vary depending on the anticipated length of the closure. Parents will be kept fully informed throughout via Arbor.

Remote learning will be delivered through the following arrangements:

  • Learning activities will be uploaded to your child’s class Google Classroom page.
  • Additional tasks and resources will also be made available via Google Classroom.
  • Pupils will be able to upload completed work to Google Classroom for their teacher to review.

We recognise that some pupils and families may experience difficulties accessing remote learning and the school will work closely with parents and pupils to provide appropriate support where needed.

During any period of school closure, the school will continue to work closely with parents and carers of pupils with SEND and pupils eligible for Pupil Premium to ensure continuity of support.
